It's incredible that Brown has a social work background. She should not go anywhere near survivors of domestic abuse. How about keeping the abusers in jail so they don't abuse, instead of releasing them home? If they are so easily shamed to abuse, the problem isn't the shame, it's the lack of accountability to prevent them from committing harm.
